00:00:00Product · Note it

Say what’s wrong, on the frame it’s on.

Stop on the frame, draw on it, write a line. Lampo keeps the frame number, your drawing and the picture itself, so whoever fixes it, person or agent, never has to guess.

00:00:00The note

A frame, not a second.

“Around 0:12” is twenty-four frames. A note in Lampo is one of them: its number at the file’s real frame rate, your drawing in the video’s pixels and the frame itself, clean and marked, so whoever opens it sees exactly what you saw.

  • Must, should, nice: what has to change before it’s approved. Idea: a suggestion that never counts as work.
  • Tags: cut, timing, freeze, text/typo, layout/overlap, color/grade, audio/music, sfx, graphic, idea, love it.
  • The whole video, when it’s about everything: About the whole video in the note’s head.
  • References: a picture, a clip, a link or a moment of another video that shows what you mean.
00:00:00On the picture

Draw what you mean.

While you write, the tools sit on the picture: a box, an arrow, a line by hand. Every mark is kept in the video’s pixels and burned into the marked picture, so a box says where without a word.

00:00:00In and out

A stretch, not a moment.

When it’s about more than a frame, one click makes the note a section, a second from the frame on screen; then drag its ends on the timeline, or set them with I and O. Your agent gets both ends, and six frames across it in one picture.

00:00:00Voice notes

Hold T and say it.

Talk while it plays, then let go. The note is pinned where you started, a section if it played on, written down by Lampo’s speech engine and tagged by what you said. Your voice stays with it as its clip.

  • Record feedback with ⇧R: talk, point and draw while you watch, and every thing you say becomes a draft on the frame that was on screen.
  • Save, then send: drafts only you see until you send them, then your agent gets them as one batch.
  • Your languages: every note heard in whatever language you speak, or in your own list, set in Settings → Voice notes.
  • Heard where Lampo runs, by its own speech engine: your recordings go to no other service.
00:00:00The transcript

Change the words, not the timecode.

Each version’s voice-over and dialogue is a transcript on its frames. Select the words, write what they should say and why, and your agent gets the exact edit, with where the words are heard.
