00:00:00Product · Approve it

You approve. Then your client.

Every video has one stage, the same on every screen. You approve a version, your client approves it through a review link without an account, and Final says which version ships: agents fix nothing more until someone reopens it.

00:00:00Where a video stands

One stage, the same on every screen.

Nobody sets a stage by hand: Lampo works it out from the video’s versions, notes and decisions every time. The library, the board, the player and your agent all say the same, and where the next step is yours it is one button.

  • To review: the newest version has no decision and no open work. Check fixes waits here too.
  • Being fixed: must, should or nice notes are open, or changes were requested; ideas, questions and info notes never hold a video back.
  • Approved: by the team, then through a review link: Out for review once it was opened, Approved via link once they approved.
  • Final: the version that ships. A newer version doesn’t move it; reopening does.
00:00:00Decisions belong to a version

A new version is reviewed again, unless nothing changed.

An approval is for one version. When V4 arrives, the stage says V3 approved · V4 new. A re-export that changes nothing doesn’t need another look: when the version diff finds no picture change, no sound change and no retime, you carry the approval over, and the history says it was carried.

00:00:00Final

Final locks the video for agents.

Final says this is the version that ships. A newer version doesn’t move it; until someone reopens it, an agent’s fix is refused with the reason, and a note it adds waits. Approving and Final stay with people: no agent and no API token can approve, carry over or mark final.

  • Owners, admins and members approve, request changes, carry over, mark final and reopen.
  • Reviewers approve, request changes and carry over; Final isn’t theirs to set.
  • Clients on a review link that allows approving decide on the newest version, as the client.
  • Agents read the stage and respect Final; they never approve, carry over or mark final.
00:00:00The board

Move a card, and that’s the decision.

On the board, dropping a card in another lane is the step that puts the video there: Approved approves the newest version, Being fixed requests changes, Final marks it final after asking. The lanes it can’t go to dim while it moves.

  • Download V3 from a video’s ⋯ menu, as it was rendered, or any other version; members, admins and owners.
  • Archive a project that is done: it leaves the lists and is read only until one click restores it; its embeds keep playing.
